Isabella Kodama

Cello

Isabella Kodama is a cellist based in Denver, CO. She is a graduate student at the University of Denver, where she studies with Matthew Zalkind as his teaching assistant. Isabella is pursuing her masters in cello performance with a certificate in Suzuki pedagogy. She is a passionate educator and enjoys teaching cello to all ages and backgrounds. Currently, she teaches privately and performs with local groups in Boulder and Denver. Isabella has participated in orchestra and chamber music festivals in the United States and Europe, most recently on the East Coast and in Italy.

Isabella is originally from the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, where she studied with cellist Sæunn Thorsteinsdottir. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her cat, Simba.
